Join us as we celebrate the opening of Home Grown: Cultivado Aquí!
Home Grown highlights creatives with deep Milwaukee roots working in multiple creative fields. This exhibit will is a celebration of the next generation of creative individuals blazing a path not only in the local arts scene but also on a national level.
The diversity in artistic disciplines featured as part of this exhibit is a parallel to the diversity that makes up the Hispanic community and the creative fields that need its presence to encourage creative growth and expression.
Artists participating in Home Grown share having attended UCC’s Bruce-Guadalupe Community School and UCC Acosta Middle School in their primary and middle school years as a common thread. This exhibit celebrates the creativity they bring into our communities and their unique creative journeys.
