New Adult Drum Session: Conga Technique

oin us during our Academia Bembé Winter/Spring 2024 semester for our NEW Adult Drum Session: Conga Technique, with Bembé Teaching Artist Andy Miller!
Through communal practice, this workshop will equip students with exercises to improve their conga technique to build the clarity, independence, strength, solo vocabulary, and endurance to play the lead drum parts in various African Diaspora musical genres.
This session will run from February 5th-26th on Mondays, from 7:30-9:00pm. ALL workshops will be held at Bembé’s NEW Casa Cultural, located at 611 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, 53215 (across the street from the Mitchell Park Domes). Open to ages 18+, no experience necessary. Save your spot today before it’s too late!
