Bembé’s Learning from the Masters: Bomba Puertorriqueña Series

Bembé’s “Learning from the Masters” was created to pass on Afro-Latino musical traditions directly from cultural elders and masters to Milwaukee cultural arts educators and the greater community through oral and cultural praxis. Learning From the Masters brings master artists-in-residence from the African Diaspora to Milwaukee for 8-10 week residencies.
Join us as we welcome back our artist-in-residence, Alberto “Beto” Torrens for a series of workshops on Afro-Puerto Rican musical tradition, Bomba Puertorriqueña!
