Bembé’s Learning From the Masters Workshops @ UW-Milwaukee!
Join us for community workshops with Bembé “Learning from the Masters” guest artist, Alberto “Beto” Torrens of San Juan, Puerto Rico! Beto Torrens is a master percussionist, performer and cultural educator in Afro-Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban musical traditions. Learn drumming, song, history and more with Bembé’s spring 2022 LFM artist-in -residence. You won’t want to miss these fun, educational and interactive workshops! Open to UWM students, staff and the community.
These workshops will take place at the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, Room 280.
