Juana Gallo con Maria Félix

Maria Félix stars as a country girl named Angela. Upon learning of the murder of her father and her boyfriend, she takes up arms against the federal government. Angela, who begins to be known as “Juana Gallo”, gets the support of all the people; including some of the federals who come to defend their cause. This tense situation would become the Battle of Zacatecas.

This event is part of the Sor Juana Festival  2019. The film is in spanish with no subtitles and free to the public.
