Environmental & Social Justice Film Screening: Reinventing Power

Reinventing Power is the final film in the Environmental & Social Justice Film Series that we and the Urban Ecology Center are screening via Zoom, followed by a live discussion.
“Reinventing Power: America’s Renewable Energy Boom” lets us hear directly from the people making our clean energy future achievable. These stories are proof that America does not need to choose between keeping the lights on and protecting our communities.
The growing increase in renewable energy technologies (such as wind turbines and solar panels) will decrease water consumption at an even greater rate than the transition from coal to natural gas, eliminating the need for water withdrawals and consumption for electricity generation in the United States.
