7/13 Septeto Charambó

Septeto Charambó is the modern version of the popular 80’s salsa band Conjunto Charambó. Combining charanga and bomba rhythms from the Caribbean, the band was reinvented in 2022 by percussionist Alberto Rivera, who is now accompanied by lead vocalist Roberto Figueroa, pianist Joey Sanchez, Salvador Santiago, Jr. on timbales, percussionist Cecilia Negrón, Jr., along with vibest Ramon Torres III and bassist Rafael Castro, Jr., sons of former members of the 80’s ensemble. Now delivering their unique salsa dura sound, Septeto Charambó is keeping the rich traditions of Milwaukee salsa alive for the return of LIVE @ the Lakefront.
